DESIGN WEIGHTS ? HELP!

AS ANY ONE OUT THERE GOT THE DESIGN WEIGHTS FOR THE STYLUS ..
CHECKED THE SITE (DUNA SEARCH) NO JOY :(
CHAPI FROM VOSA :twisted: JUST RUNG ME ,SAYS I NEED THE AXLE 1 ..AND AXLE 2 DESIGN WEIGHTS..
ALLSO TOP SPEED :?:

its in my manual at home, but from memory it was 500kg per axle.

As long as they're over you're ok. Car will probably weigh 700kg ish, so make it 500 per axle and you're fine. As for top speed, again, just make sure it's more....

Don't forget that the top speed you put will affect the speed rating the tester will look for on your tyres...

man from vosa says my estimate for top speed at 95 mph is a little short 2 say the least :oops:

What's the diff' ratio ? On a 3.89 diff' my top was theoretically 160mph -- not likely due to power and aero restrictions. I declared it to be 120mph as when it was SVA'd the power was 165bhp. Now with a 4.4 diff' and 15 inch wheels / 50 profile tyres , it would more likely be a true 140mph , now it has 230 bhp plus.

Hi rob
just done the maths on the top speed
at 5500rpm with 4.2 diff and 72" round the rubber ,works out at .110.99 mph
informed the vosa gent of this and he was happy again :lol:
also went for the 450 kg-450kg f/r weights .said that ,that was ok 2..
