I wish, noticed yesterday oil was leaking, assumes engine oil. Checked tonight and I can get my finger at least 30mm inside the hole and feel a puddle of oil. Cant see into the hole as the chassis rail and side panels are in the way but from looking at the pics I should not be able to get my finger in that far anyway.

I just hope not much has drained out on my commute to work and the box is ok....

OK then , try googling BGH gearboxes / Fury kit cars in KENT . Ask to talk to Brian Hills , he's 80 yrs old odd but has RAF background and great knowledge / designed Caterhams 6 speed years ago.

Definately try BGH Geartech, as I'm sure Brian W had the gearbox to them for a longer 1st gear.

I rang BGH up. No idea who it was I spoke to but a rather nice chap. Stuck me one in the post complete with some sealant on it.

Just hope I have enought room to fit it without having to partially remove the engine as its rather tight down there.

Thanks for the help.

Well , if it's that tight , rather than remove the engine ---- cut a nice big circle through the alloy sheet opposite the plug then rivnut the circumference in 4 places then fit an alloy cover --- job done :P

That was my initial thought but right infront of it is one of the tunnel box section diagonales the handbrake is attached to so I cant cut one in line. Will wait and see what its like, got someone on standby to make me a thinner version if this is to big/tight to get in
