If anyone has a 4.1 English diff in really good condition that's not required for the future , I'm in the market for one :wink: No intention of changing now but it's a planned back-up if my 13 inch wheels change has more effect than my calculations re - top speed :oops:

If you go to 13" wheels, then top speed will drop?
Don't you need a 3.54 to compensate?
(forgive me if I have the wrong end of the stick)

A 3.54 would be way too high geared and put me back right where I started with the 15 inch wheels. 13's will drop me 8mph top end , a 4.1 will get me back to 140mph plus.

Not sure how many teeth each ratio has , as always bought previous diff's as listed :roll:

4.44 = 9 / 40 (pinion teeth/crownwheel teeth)
4.125 = 8/33
3.89 = 9/35
3.77 = 9/34
3.54 = 11/39

Thanks for thinking of me Ian but with a 3.54 diff , I'd need 300bhp plus to be competitive and that would cost more than I can muster to supercharge my engine plus all the other bits needed to run it/new Atlas axle & gearbox etc.
