Re: Kit car scene

Don't know if they will be the first to be shelved. The way money can perish nowadays (banks going tits up) people tend to spend they're money instead.

Result in the dutch kitcarclub 4 GD T70's are ordered

and that aint the cheap side of the kitcarmarket

Re: A couple of bits

Re: seatbelt attachments

Don't run the seatbelts through the seatbelt holes in your seats for SVA, because they need a certification then to prove they can withstand certain forces in case of a collision. especially if the seatbelts touch the holes when you're strapped in! Just run them round the seats for SVA. Also make su...

Re: Manifold

20V engine is a very nice one to have in a road car, but not very good at racing. when funds allow, i'll be building a 16v with 7rib block with the strong balanced bottom end using steel conrods and forged high compression pocketed pistons, high pressure oil pump and a flowed smallport head with som...

Re: Manifold

I know it are Dellorto DHLA carbs, but that's about it. But everything depends on the engine. Mine is a 7 rib block with 20mm gudgeon piston cooling conrods/42mm conrod big end, small port high 10.3 compression head. While most are 3 rib block 18mm gudgeon non piston cooling conrods/40mm conrod big ...

Re: stylus history

Regarding the axle in the RT - I thought the "atlas" axle was used to give the wider track (out of capris and many other donors)? Not so  Some people chose to go this route but it was not a factory standard. If big power/torque is planned , it could be a good route but baby atlas axles are he...

Re: A daughter

It's a garage connected to the house, but no heating inside. Though the central heating burner is in there. In the next few weeks i need to connect 2 extra radiators to the system on the 2nd level and might connect a 3rd one in the garage at the same time, this should keep the extreme cold outside, ...
